A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the House of the Lord Church, 523 Hobson St in Houma.
She is survived by her children Edith Carson and Troy Davis (Andria); six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Elmer Davis, Jr. (Cheryl), Herman Davis, Northern and Arthur McKinley, Jr.; sister, Lucinda Broussard, Betty Dottery (Aaron); and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Davis, Sr. and Georgiana Woods McKinley (Arthur, Sr.); paternal grandparents, Benjamin Davis, Sr. and Bertha Aitch; maternal grandparents, Ben Woods and Sylvia Stewart; siblings, Albert Davis and Zelda M. Green.
