A Journey Through Life
Revelations 14:13
Then I heard the voice from Heaven saying, "Write, 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.'" "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them."
Sister Steward-Wilson accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at the Mt. Olive Baptist church in Smithridge, LA by the late Rev. Fleming. She was educated in the Terrebonne Parish school system and was retired employee of Chabert Medical Center. She will be warmly remembered for her involvement in the Terrebonne Parish church community. There she embraced her love for God and spent her life spreading His Word with passion, humility, and unwavering conviction. Whether standing in front of a congregation, leading a Bible study, or simply sharing a word of encouragement, she spoke with grace and fire, touching the hearts of everyone she encountered. Her voice was a vessel of truth, comfort, and hope, and within her was a place where prayer was powerful and love abounded. She believed deeply in the promises of God and never ceased to remind others of His goodness and mercy. Her most profound words were those when she spoke of family and love and she never wavered from speaking on it. Family and friends will cherish Sister Steward-Wilson’s memory.
On Friday, June 27, 2025, God in His infinite wisdom needed another beautiful blossom plucked from His garden and chose Sis Stewart-Wilson and Sis. Stewart-Wilson finally gaining her wings, took flight from her earthly home and entered through the pearly gates of Heaven to sit among the angels.
