Irma Lee Harris

Irma Lee Harris, 76, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:56 a.m. Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7 p.m. on Friday. Viewing will be Saturday, July 13, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Chauvin from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Bisland Cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Eric (Tammy) and Heard, Jr. (Dora) Harris and Reginald (Joann) Jules; three daughters, Sandra (Michael) Valentine, Lana (Larry) McKay, and Gevinnie Moore; one brother, Bennie Williams, Sr.; four sisters, Verna Smith, Rose (Fred) Trosclair; Hazel (Ernest) Hartman, and Martha (Charles) Johnson; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-two geat-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Heard Harris, Sr.; parents, Bennie and Rosie Jackson-Harris; daughter, Ann Marie George; brothers, Thomas and Leonard Williams and Joe Rainey.
