Irvin J. ""Jody"" Hills, age 46, a native of Lafayette, La., and a resident of Jeanerette, La., died Friday, June 29, 2012 at Iberia Medical Center. Visitation will be Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Sorrell Community Cemetery. Jody leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Rena M. ""AL"" Johnson of Jeanerette, La; four sons, Irvin Joseph Hills, Jr., Tyrek Young and Darrien Ford all of Sioux Iowa, Anthony Hills of Jeanerette, La., and Kyle Hills of South Carolina; two daughters, Jodie Marie Conner of Patterson, La., and Natasha Rand of Sioux Iowa; one brother, Carol Hills of Jeanerette, La; five sisters, Zelda Faye Bobbitt, Irma August, Mary Hills and Gwendolyn Charles all of Jeanerette, La; and Carla Morton of Desoto, TX; one grandchild, Amari N. Lockett of Jeanerette, La., and a host of relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Irving Johnson.
