James Smith, Jr.

​Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Morning Star Baptist Church, 108 Livas Lane in Thibodaux. Burial will follow in Blue Lily Cemetery.

​He is survived by his wife Lille Woolens Smith; sons, James Smith, III and Anderson Bolden; daughters, Kelly, Angela, Jamiee and Jarranaja Smith; mother, Estelle Joseph Smith; sisters, Yvonne, Victoria, Nancy, Kathie and Rihanna Smith; mother-in-law, Gwendolyn Livas (L.C. Howard); father-in-law, Leonard Livas, Sr. (Deloris); brother-in-law, Leonard Livas, Jr.; sister-in-law, Renata Williams.

​He was preceded in death by his father, James Smith, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Nolan and Genieve Smith; maternal grandparents, Louis and Ruby Joseph; niece, Kendra Smith.
