Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Dularge Community Baptist Church located at 549 Andrew St. in Houma. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Johnson, III.; daughters, Leticia and Jolanda Johnson; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; brothers, Paul, Wayne and James Harvey, Sr.; sister, Loretta Thomas (Gary), Linda Singleton (Beverly), Regina Martin, Constance Harvey and Lynette Brown (Samuel); godchildren, Zellie Martin, Chrysanthemum Harvey and Ivy Johnson; former husband, Joseph Johnson, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Johnson; grandchild, Thaji Johnson; parents, James, sr. and Nancy Swing Harvey; sisters, Bonnie Harvey and Janice Jackson; grandparents, Arthur Swing, Sr. and Ruth Peters Harris.
