Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Dularge Community Baptist Church, 524 Andrew St. in Houma. Burial will follow in Deweyville Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Anitra Poindexter Amacker; sons, Darian and J'Khari Amacker; daughter, Amari Amacker; grandson, Xayden Stoves; parents, Mary Brown Amacker and Albert Smith; brothers, Kenneth, Tyrone and Darryl Amacker; sisters, Anita (Gerald) Douglas, Carol Arceneaux, Bernadette (Darnell) Franklin, Cynthia, Kimberly and Gwendolyn Amacker; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Amacker; grandmother, Lula Mae Ross; nephew, Jerrod Brown.
