Jerome ""Dude"" Oisdell Evans, 23, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died Wednesday, October 08, 2014 at 8:50 a.m. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday and from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Eagle Wright Baptist Church, 3590 Hwy 316, Gray, LA 70359. Burial will follow in Halfway Cemetery. He is survived by: his mother, Sandra Johnson-Evans; his maternal grandmother, Ora Mae LaGarde; significant other, Javante' Rainey; sisters, Crystal Johnson, Latonya LaGarde, Rae Dawn Evans and Sherita Morris; and brothers, Michael Waller, Lorenzo Collins, Eric Wilson and Jereme LaGarde. He was preceded in death by: his father, Michael Jerome Evans; maternal grandfather, Ulyssees LaGarde, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Wallace and Delores Evans; and godparents, Irvin and Earline Simpson.
