Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at St. Mark Baptist Church, 106 Hwy 104, Labadieville, LA 70372 Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Tranika and Rakena Smith; former wife, Paula Hawkins Smith; four grandchildren; father Calvin (JoAnn) Smith, Jr.; brothers, Calvin (Alicia) Smith, III , Wayne Smith, Glynn Smith, Alvin Smith and Lance Rockwood; foster brother, Benjamin Hawkins; sister, Rosemary Jasper; and a host other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ora Mae Dark; foster parents, Andrew and Ida Mae Jackson. brothers, James and Donald Dark; sisters, Wendy Smith and Sharon Jasper;
