Joan Henry Harris

A kind and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Joan showed love to all she met throughout her life; she never met a stranger. Living, Life and Laughter are what we will remember the most. Joan will forever be missed, but we will carry her memories in our hearts.

Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at Jones Funeral Home, 230 S Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360, on August 8, 2026, at 11:00am.

She is survived by her children; Peter Guidry and Melissa (Kirby) Martin her grandchildren; Morgan, Doiron, Raylnn, Joslynn, Guidry, Briana Chaisson and Jacob Carrington her siblings; Arthur (Teah) Sylve, Felix (Brandy) Gregoire, Geirod Henry, Leroy (Rita) Ancar, Joseph (Queen) Henry Jr., Lynn (Vickie) Henry Sr. and Dianne Trahan

She is preceded in death by her husband; Donnie Harris Sr. her parents; Joseph Henry Sr. and Mary Mable Trahan her brother; Freddie Sylve and one grandson Christopher Carrington Jr.
