Joan Ellen Williams, age 65, a native of Lafayette, La., and a resident of New Iberia, LA died Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 3:20 AM at the New Iberia Manor South in New Iberia. Visitation will be Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Believers Family Worship Center in New Iberia, La., from 7:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM, with Bishop Jeffery Archangel, officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery of Jeanerette, La. Joan leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters, Quana Williams and Tiuana Williams both of New Iberia, La; a grandson, Jo-von E. Williams of New Iberia, La., a former husband, Lester Williams of New Iberia, La. and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johna Williams and Helen Cutten-Williams.
