Joel Robertson, age 51, a resident of Franklin, La., died Friday, May 18, 2012 at 8:00 AM at his residence. Visitation will be Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Joel leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Michelle Howard Robertson of Franklin, La., his father, Jim Robertson of Cleveland, TX., two sons, Joel Donnell Robertson, Jr., of Baton Rouge, La., and Jamarr Kendale Howard of Franklin, La; a daughter, Alexis Naquel Sam of Franklin, La; two brothers, Thomas Robertson of Houston, TX., and Perry O'Neil Robertson of Gidding, TX; three sisters, Myrtle Robertson and Patricia Crosby both of Houston, TX., and Cheryl Yvette Jacobs of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his mother, a sister, and his son.
