Joseph Butler, Sr.

Visitation will be observed on Friday December 18, 2015 from 8:00 A.M. until funeral services at 11:00 A.M.  at the Railroad Avenue Church of Christ 1105 Railroad Avenue Morgan CIty, LA, with Stanley Rankins officiating the services. Burial will follow funeral services in the Nazarene Cemetery in Verdunville, LA.

Joseph leaves his legacy of love with his loving wife, Mary Williams-Butler, his three sons, Neal Butler, David Butler and Joseph Butler, Jr.; a daughter, Berthena Butler-King; a daughter-in-law, Ara Butler all of Patterson LA; four brothers, Hilliard Butler (Lillie), Henry Butler, Jr. (Lillian), and Lloyd Butler all of Verdunville, LA and Floyd Butler of Houston, TX, a sister-in-law, JoAnn Benjamin (Harry) of New Orleans, LA; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Butler Sr. and Cecila Lewis-Butler, Sr; one son, Gregory Paul Butler, Sr.; two sisters, four brothers,one grandchild, six sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law.
