Joseph Howard, Jr., 63, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 7:15 a.m.Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at Jones Funeral Home and from 12:00 p.m until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. at St. Lucy Catholic Church on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery. He is survived by: his mother, Annie Bell Howard; one son, Jeremy (Rachel) Howard; two daughters, Lawantha (Elroy) Anderson and Crystal (Brian, Sr.) Patterson; six sisters, Beverley H. Castillo, Betty H. Riley, Glenda Patterson, Barbara Howard, Brenda H. (Melvin) Porter and Mary Patterson; seven brothers, James, Jerronne, Jason, Jerrol, Jonathon, Junius, and Jermaine Howard; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.He was preceded in death by: his father, Joseph Howard, Sr.; and brother, John Howard.Jones Funeral Home of Houma in charge of arrangements.
