Joseph Verdun, Sr., age 88, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at his residence in Patterson, La. The visitation will be Saturday, March 6, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson, La., from 8:00 AM until the funeral at 10:00 AM. The interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Verdunville, La. Joseph was survived by three sons, Joseph Ronnie (Claudette) Verdun, Jr. and Kevin Verdun both of Patterson, La., and Guy (Elvina) Verdun of Bayou Vista, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Lillian) Smith of Lafayette, La. and Mrs. Ted (Bettye) Foulcard of Franklin, La.; a sister, Joycea Mae Paul of Verdunville, La., eight grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two brothers and five sisters.
