Kadin Allen Parfait

Kadin was known for his infectious laughter, quick jokes, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met. He had a special way of bringing people together and making others feel welcome. His warm heart and playful spirit made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. Those who knew Kadin will always remember his sense of humor, his loyalty to the people he loved, and the light he brought into every room.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Britney Parfait (Christopher Walls), and by his many brothers and sisters: Kayelin McKay, Joshua Ruffin Jr., Dominic Hartman, Kazai Brown, Aaliyah Allen, Preston Parfait, Jaden Parfait, Christiana Walls, Chrissy Walls, Christopher Walls Jr., and Jordan Walls.

He is also remembered by his uncle's Loren Parfait (Ashley Brown), Travis Parfait (Pamela), Lawrence Williams, and Joshua Ruffin Sr.; his aunts Keri Brown, Danielle Hartman, and Wallo Williams; and his godmother Evelyn Butler (Cory); cousins Kylan Lirette, Wyatt Parfait, Xander Parfait, Kambrii Carcisse, Keiani Carcisse, Rhyzen Lirette, and Yuri Parfait.

Kadin also shared many unbreakable bonds with friends and loved ones. One special person he was looking forward to spending his life with was Taija Jackson and Buddy Omar Jackson. She was truly a blessing, and our family is eternally grateful for the love and support she and her family gave him.

It is rare to keep friendships from elementary school throughout life, but Kadin was blessed with those kinds of lasting friendships. Among those he held close were Thomas Bais, Ryan Trahan, Joey Luciano, Colby Porche, Taighan Poindexter, Sedrick Parker, Errol Sims Jr., and Willie Jeff Jr., along with many others who will forever consider him a brother.

Kadin was preceded in death by his beloved aunt, Loriann Marie Parfait, his father, Joshua McKay, and Jacoby Pollard.

He is survived by his grandparents, Martha and Lawrence Parfait, and Carol and Lloyd Ruffin.

Kadin was also loved by a multitude of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched deeply.
