Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at St. Luke Baptist Church, 3755 Bayou Black Drive in Houma. Burial will follow in St. James Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Lamar Bowens; daughters, Lucretia B. Thomas and Larbia Bowens; six grandchildren; brothers, Robert Cross, III. and Quenson Cross, Sr.; sister, Edna Cosey; godchild, Janel Gray; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert, Jr. and Emelda J. Cross; sisters, Ruth C. Gray, Brunetta C. Stevenson and Virginia C. Nevarez; grandparents, Earl, Sr. and Zenobia Johnson, and Robert Cross, Sr..
