A public viewing will be conducted from 12:30 p.m. until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 2424 Grand Caillou Road, Houma, LA, 70360. burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his companion, Petrina Joseph Jackson; sons, Kerry A. Jackson, Jr. and Frederick Joseph; daughters, Kerryse and Taija' Jackson; two grandchildren; brothers, Philmore Jackson, Jr. (Bertha), George Cleveland, Sr. (Paige), Lawrence and Phillip Cleveland, and Quincey Johnson (Lisa); sister, Jane Frances Cleveland; bestfriend, Willie McKinley, Sr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Philmore, Sr. and Susie Myles Jackson; paternal grandparents, Suthon, Sr. and Pinky Jackson; maternal grandparents, Hezekiah and Edna Calloway Myles.
