Kevin Jones

Kevin “Michael” Jones was born on January 19, 1959, to the late Mckinely and Queenester Jones Jr. in Houma, Louisiana he was the 7th of 12 children. On December 30, 2024, God whispered peace to Kevin Michael Jones and released him from all his pain. Michael as his family and friends affectionately called him, grew-up in Houma, LA. Michael was baptized in 2024 and accepted the Lord as his Savior. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. May this love be what we remember the most about Michael.

Visitation will be from 9am until Funeral service at 11am Jones Funeral Home 230 South Hollywood Road Houma, LA 70360 Burial will follow in Union Benevolent Cemetery in Houma, LA

He is survived by his children two sons Kelvin Michael Vincent and Amad Rashad Vincent, one daughter LaToya Mosely. Two sisters Loretta Anne Jones Hampton of Houma, Louisiana and Maude Helen (Rudolph) Diggs of Columbia, South Carolina. His two brothers Melvin Jones and Billy Jones, of Houma. His grandchildren Aronique Mosley, Kamren Louise Vincent, Krai’lon Messiah Vincent, Amad Vincent Jr., Amril Smith, Amirell Smith, Rashya Vincent, Royal Verdin. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents McKinley and Queenester Jones; his daughter Latina Vincent, Granddaughter Emerald Verdin, maternal grandparents Maude and Melvin Williams, paternal grandparents Mckinley Jones Sr and Cecile Mahoney, two sisters Cecile Jones and Joyce Matthews, five brothers: Eddie Jackson, McKinley Jones III, Earl James Jones, Timothy Jones and Lorenzo Inez Jones.
