He is survived by his daughters, Shantell Williams (Marvin), Shandel Williams (Clarence) and and Shanell Burdis; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers, Lionel, Oscar, Jr., Leroy, Richard, and Ricky Burdis (Maybelline); sister, Carol Burdis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar, Sr. and Beulah Pierre Burdis; brothers, Medrick, Lloyd, Tillman and Alton Burdis; sisters, Udell Burdis and Mercedes "Dorothy" Sanders.
He was employed as a Laborer I for the City of Thibodaux.
