Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM until celebration of life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 168 Brocata Lane Raceland, LA. Burial will follow in the Brooklyn Lane Cemetery 2614 Hwy 1 Raceland, LA.
Laura leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Gary Allen Toussaint; daughters, Shauntike (Travis) Guidroz and Garrylyn Hester; brothers, Nolan Hester, Jr., Anthony Hester, and Alvin (Rosalyn) Smith; sisters, Debra Hill, Paula Smith, and Denise Washington; grandchildren, Terranazia Crandle and Ah'myren Washington; great grandchild, Greyson Crandle, along with a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nolan Hester, Sr.; mother, Dorothy Mae Lawson Hester; brothers, Henry Hester and Ron Keith Hester; sisters, Lurenda Hester, Angela Hester Boyd, Linda Raymond, Gwendolyn Smith, Charlotte Richard; nephews, Nolan Hester III and James Hester, and her grandchild, Tra'Mia Guidroz.
