Leroy ""BOO"" Lewis, Jr., age 71, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of Franklin, LA died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 10:27 AM his residence. Leroy was a veteran of the United States Army. Visitation will be Monday, February 3, 2014 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 4th St., in Morgan City, La., from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. Leroy ""BOO"" leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Margaret Cummings-Lewis of Franklin, La; a daughter, Monie Oliver of Pensacola, FL; a brother, Marvin ""Joe"" (Carol) Lewis of Patterson, La; four sisters, Barbara Gayle Lewis, Greta Lewis and Gaydell (Sterling) Nixon all of Morgan City, La., and Lorraine Lewis Carter of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Lewis, Sr., and Helen Watson Lewis.
