Linda C. Jones

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday June 30, 2016, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home 604 Lovette Street Jeanerette, LA. Burial will take place in the Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary, LA at a later date.

Memories of Linda will forever remain in the hearts of her loving daughter, Patricia Chenet; three grandchildren, Christian Chenet, Darrian McNeal and Tanisha Butler; a son-in-law, Darnell T. Thompson all of Jeanerette, LA; two brothers, Lawrence Chenet, Jr. (Theresa) of Olivier, LA and Raymond Chenet of Jeanerette, LA; four sisters, Doris C. Wiltz of New Iberia, LA, Catherine Chenet-Rhine and Julia Mae Clay both of Jeanerette, LA and Ann Marie Chenet of Franklin, LA and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Jones; one daughter, April Chenet-Thompson; her parents, Lawrence Chenet,, Sr. and Lille Mae Phillips-Chenet and three sisters, Hilda M. Phillips, Gloria Brown and Susan Fusilier.
