Lola M. Franklin, age 55, a native and a resident of Franklin died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at noon at Our Lady Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, LA. Visitation will be Saturday, July 21, 2012 at St. Jules Catholic Church in Franklin, La., from 9:00 AM, Rosary at 10:00 AM followed by mass service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Lola leaves to cherish her memories; her mother, Jean Ellen Alexander Franklin of Franklin, La; a son, Tristan Franklin of Valdosta, GA; a daughter, Mary Lauren Rochon of Franklin, La; two brothers, Perry Wayne Franklin of Richmond, CA., and Wendell Alonzo Franklin of Stanford, VA; four sisters, Jill Silas, Janet Brent and Kristie Franklin all of Franklin, La., and Sunday Franklin of Glen Allen, VA., and a host of relatives and friends. Preceded in death by a brother, and a sister.
