Lorraine Ruffin

Visitation will be Friday, August, 31, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. at New Rising Sun Baptist Church, 230 St. Charles Street in Houma. Visitation will resume on Saturday, September 1, 2018, from 9:00 am. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Lamar Ruffin; daughters, Lanisa Ruffin, Lorrie Durham (Tashon), and Lindsay Navarre (Jarnard); thirteen grandchildren; brothers, Robert Ruffin, Roger Ruffin, Charles Ruffin (Eva) and Julius Ruffin (Lois); sisters, Carolyn Patterson (Junius) and Annette Ruffin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Picola Lyons Ruffin; brother, Carl Louis Ruffin; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Mary Ruffin; maternal grandparents, Henry and Mary Lyons.
