A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S. Hollywood Road in Houma. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Marlene Johnson (Joseph, Jr.), Cynthia Johnson (Terrence), Joann James and Lorraine Sanders; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, John McKinley James; granddaughter, Tiffany James; parents, Samuel and Pearl Turner James; brothers, Lester, Laniel and Jonas James; sisters, Pearl James and Evelynn Willis.
