Memories of Marie will forever remain in the hearts of her son, Rodney Verdun and his wife, Denise of Franklin, LA; three grandchildren, Christopher A. Marlar of Lafayette, LA, Megan Verdun of New Orleans, LA and Brittany Hale of Raleigh, NC; three brothers, Shelby Bourgeois and his wife, Marguerite and Murlin Bourgeois all of Verdunville, LA and Thomas Bourgeois of Los Angeles, CA; one sister, Betty Nelson of Jeanerette, LA and a host of other relatives and friends.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Verdun, Jr; a son, Christopher D. Verdun, a daughter, Jennifer Verdun Marlar; a granddaughter, Kristin Kay Verdun; her parents, Albert Sr. and Bessie P. Bourgeois; two sisters and four brothers.
