It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marissa Nicole Ford. Though her time on earth was far too brief, Marissa touched the lives of many through her kind spirit, vibrant personality, and the love she shared with those around her.

Marissa was a proud graduate of Chester W. Nimitz High School and was employed with Walmart. She was a devoted mother whose greatest joy in life was her beloved son, Omari Ray Anderson. Being his mother was a role she cherished above all else.

Marissa enjoyed trail riding, skating, dancing, and spending time with those she loved. She attended Fallbrook Church in Houston, Texas, where she found fellowship and encouragement. She was especially close to her best friend and sister at heart, Brittani, as well as her lifelong friends, Salvo and Big Cuz, whose friendships brought her much happiness.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her son, Omari Ray Anderson of Houma, Louisiana; her mother, Johnnie M. Boston Ford of Houma, Louisiana; her brothers, Kiyo Moye of Houston, Texas, and Nayee Moye of Jasper, Texas; her sister, Khadijah Moye of Houston, Texas; along with a host of other relatives, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Marissa's love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
