

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. until funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at the Railroad Avenue Church of Christ 1105 Railroad Avenue Morgan City, LA, with Brother Stanley Rankins, officiating the services. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Marjorie leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, Phillip Jones, Jr. of Bayou Vista, LA; a daughter, Tensia Jones of Bayou Vista, LA; two sons, Michael (Edwina) Johnson of Berwick, LA. and Phillip (Kim) Jones, III of Bayou Vista, LA; nine grandchildren, Danielle Garrison, Jennifer Ozene, Ebony (Brandon) Rowe, Lashina (Terry) Davis, Mykella Johnson, Phillip Jones, Desmon Jones, Michael Johnson, and Jordan Poole; twelve great grandchildren, two godchildren, Toni Skinner-Sims and Anjanika Craft; one brother-in-law, Landry Granger, Sr.; five sisters-in-law, Elmira Jones, Elaine (Hilbert) Craft, Mater (Alvin) Singleton, Ann Poole and Stella Lewis; dear friends, Diane Givens, Sandra Kelly and Aubrey Weeden and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Rogers Solete and Shelma Rondeno Solete; two brothers, Rogers Solete and Frederick Solete; five sters-in-law, Odessa Poole, Maxine Miller, Bernadine Granger, Anna Belle Poole and Mary Poole; three brothers-in-law, Claudis Miller, Wilbert Poole and Raymond Poole and a dear friend, Louise Johnson.
