Martin L. Rhine

Martin L. Rhine, 31 was born to the union of the late Danason and Patricia Brown Rhine on August 10, 1981 in Lafayette, LA. He was baptized at an early age. Martin graduated from West St. Mary High School. He became employed at St. Mary Sugar Co-Op. He was joined in Holy Matrimony with Georgette Carter Rhine on June 18, 2005. On September 1, 2012 he departed this life at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital in Houston, Texas. He leaves to cherish his wife, Georgette Carter Rhine; one brother, Danason Rhine, Jr. of New Iberia, LA; one sister, Laquitha Rhine and one sister-in-law, Keisha Smith Rhine; three nieces, Diantranae Smith, Kyla Rhine, Ariya Wilson; two nephews, Jovian Rhine and Danason Rhine III; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Clarence Rhine, and a host of aunts, uncles relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Danason Sr. and Patricia Brown Rhine; maternal grandparents, Rufus ""Big Daddy"" and Leona Brown. Visitation will be at Moses Baptist Church in Sorrell, La., Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Sorrell Community Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home
