Marva Lee May age 56, a resident and native of Patterson, La., died Monday, August 5, 2013 at 1:40 PM at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, La. Visitation will be Saturday, August 10, 2013 at St. Luke Baptist Church in Patterson, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Home Industrial Cemetery. Marva leaves to cherish her memories; her mother, Shirley Mae Smith May of Patterson, La., one brother, Marvin May, III of Patterson, La., nine sisters, Sherial May of Franklin, La., Rosetta Verdun, Sylvia Fields, Beatrice M. May and Julia Sterling all of Patterson, La., Lois Palmer and Caprice Britt both of Stone Mountain, GA., Karen May of Gray, La., and Judy May of Smyrne, TN; and a host of relatives and friends.
