Visitation will be observed on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson, LA, from 9:00 AM until funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Patrick Jones, Sr. ,Officiating.  Burial will follow funeral services in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson, LA.

Memories of Marvin will forever remain in the hearts of his wife, Muriel Johnson of Patterson, LA; his children, Quantina (Alfred) Gallow-Richard of San Antonio, TX. Shelia (Alonzo Bennett) Gallow of Crowley, LA, Destinie (Clifton Francis) Gallow of Carenco, LA, Selena Elmore of Alexandria, LA, Charles (Nicolette) Elmore of Patterson, LA, and Jackie Elmore of Houston, TX;  his siblings, Warren (Denise) Hector of Houston, TX, Roy Allen Mayfield of Jennings, LA, Raynod (Kathy) Johnson of Crowley, LA, Brandon (Connie) Johnson of Patterson, LA, Marlene Johnson of Lake Charles, LA; fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Levy Johnson, Sr. and Bernice Hector Johnson, a sister, Lynette White and two brothers, Levy Johnson Sr. and Charles Ralph Hector.
