She is survived by her children, Cedric, Darryl, Anthony, Lateika, Renata, Brenae, Anneysa, Jashone Sylvester, Tyrika Tardieff and Schwann Williams; twenty-six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; father, Earnest Sylvester; brother, Terrence Sylvester; sister, Ivory Sylvester; and host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Earline Poindexter Celestine (Curvin); grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jaidyen Sylvester; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Louise Johnson Poindexter.
