Melvin Richardson, 84, a resident of Franklin died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at his residence following a long illness. Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, La. on Tuesday, July 14th from 9:00 AM until funeral time at 1:00 PM., Burial in Little Zion Cemetery Survived by; three sons; Woodrow, Wilfred & Melvin Richardson, Jr. all of Franklin, three daughters; Dorothy Howard, Shirley White & Agnes M. Richardson all of Franklin, two brothers; Wilfred Richardson of Metarie, La., & Wesley Richardson of Dickerson, Tx., three sisters; Annie Anderson of Texas City, Tx., Cordelia Richardson of Longview Tx., & Oralean Bias of Dickerson,Tx.
