Nathan Billizon

A public viewing will be conducted from 12:00 p.m. until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S. Hollywood Road in Houma. Burial will follow in Deweyville Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Orelia "Rita" Chapman Billizon; daughters, Shantel James (Aaron), Nikitra White-Jones (Wayne) and Dawn Sanders; stepdaughter, Cedonia Harang (Terron); five grandchildren; brothers, James Billizon, Donald Billizon (Martha Ann) and Ronald Billizon); three brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John, Sr. and Velma Williams Billizon; siblings, Mary B. Johnson, Fred Billion, and John Billizon, Jr.; aunt, Ella Louise Billizon; in-laws, Augustus and Cedonia Short Chapman; brother-in-law, Allen Chapman and sister-in-law, Elaine "Tiny" Cranshaw.
