Nicholas Danal Gobert, age 66 died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 10:40 PM at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia, LA following a long illness. He was a resident of New Iberia and a native of Verdunville, LA. Visitations will be Thursday, December 31, 2009 at St. Jules Catholic Church in Franklin, LA from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM with burial in church cemetery. Nicholas was survived by four sons; Danal N. Gobert, Sr. of Dallas, TX, Christopher J. Gobert, I & Chad F. Gobert both of Atlanta, GA, and Kim J Gobert, I of Moscow, Russia, three daughters; Dawnene M. Gobert of Dallas, TX, Shawn Gobert-Bowman of Atlanta, GA, and Glynnette M. Gobert of Gretna, LA, four sisters; Mrs. Billie (Frances) G. Bourgeois, Marguarite G. Bourgeois & Jeanette G. Pellerin all of Verdunville, LA, and Ann Carol Gobert-Wigley of Moss Point, MS, fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
