A public viewing will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, 120 Hialeah Street, Houma, La. Burial will follow in Halfway Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Otis Lawson; daughter, Valerie Kim Charles (Javar); twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Rose Mary Reed; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by wife, Joyce Pharr Hester; son, Sean Patrick Hester, Sr.; parents, Warren, Sr. and Irene Hawkins Hester; brothers, Nolan, Sr., Michael, Norman and Warren Hester, Jr.; sisters, Sedonia Hester, Diane H. Hadley and Eunice H. Williams.
