Patricia Tucker

Patricia Ann Scott-Tucker was born on October 10, 1946, to the late Mildred and Norman Scott Sr. in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a longtime resident of Compton, California, and relocated with her family to Gray, Louisiana, in 1982.

Patricia graduated from Compton Senior High School in Compton, California, in 1964 and continued her education at Compton Community College. She accepted Christ at a young age and remained a devoted member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Gray, Louisiana where she served as a Deaconess.

In 1965, Patricia was united in holy matrimony to John Luke Tucker, and to this union three children were born. During the 1970s, she became a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Neva Chapter #179. Patricia was a passionate and dedicated employee in the medical field for nearly 30 years, serving others with compassion and care throughout her career.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Norman Scott Sr.; her mother, Mildred Smith Scott; her sister, Barbara Jean Scott; granddaughter, Chincier and her brother-in-law, Donald Frazier.

Patricia leaves to cherish her loving memory: her devoted husband, John Tucker; her children, Keith Tucker Sr. (Mona), Marshauna Tucker, and Korey Tucker; her four grandchildren, Shanae’ Charles (AJ), Keith Tucker Jr. (Lauren), Korielle Cryer (Borice), and Adrianna Carson (Braden); and ten great-grandchildren Kamryn Charles, Ta’Borice Cryer, Borice Cryer Jr., Olivia Tucker, Karter Cryer, Adela Tucker, Bri’elle Cryer, Khyzer Cryer, Camille Charles and Gianna Charles.

She is also survived by one sister, Brenda Scott Frazier; two brothers, Norman Scott Jr. (Darcia) and Michael Scott (Karen); along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Patricia’s love, strength, and devotion to her family and faith will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Graveside service will be 10:00am on Monday May18th,2026 Mt Olive Baptist Church Cemetery 3076 West Main Street, Gray, La 70359 Interment immediately following service.
