Patricia A. Spencer-Young, 56, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 9:25 p.m. Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Houma on Thursday, May 23, from 5-7:00 p.m. ,and from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. Funeral services will be at First Baptist Church in Schriever on Friday, May 24, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Luke Baptist Cemetery in Waterproof. She is survived by three sons, Kenyatta, Sr. (Tran), Kentrell, and Keith (Andrea) Charles; one daughter, Erica Spencer; two sisters, Jennie (Darren) Perio and Stefanie (Lenwick) Harding; one brother, Marvin Spencer; one uncle, Elsee (Eva) Spencer; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her former husband, Jerald Young; parents, Elgin, Sr. and Mary Hawkins-Spencer; two brothers, Elgin, Jr. and Freddie Spencer; grandparents, Arelia Scott, Allen Hawkins, Freddie, Sr. and Rosetta Coleman-Spencer; and one granddaugter, Zoee Charles. Jones Funeral Home of Houma, in charge of arrangements.
