Peggy Marie Charles

A public walk through viewing will be conducted from 8:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing with the recommendation of signing the registry book, viewing and exiting). Funeral Services will be accessible by viewing the Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Facebook Pages at 11:00 A. M. on Saturday February 6, 2021. Ms. Charles will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Memories of Peggy will forever remain in the hearts of her fiance', Ronald Lee Johnson of Morgan City, LA; one son, Alvin Joseph Francois of Morgan City, LA; three daughters, Marla Ann (Patrick) Levine of Bayou Vista, LA, Pebble Marie Francois of Patterson, LA and Pam Marie Batist of Alexandria, LA; two sisters, Lilla Mae Charles of Patterson, LA and Corrine Charles of Port Arthur, TX; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Charles, Sr. and Corrine C. Charles; two sons, Troy Louis Francois and Michael James Francois and three brothers, Joseph Edwards Charles, Richard Eric Hawkins, and Arthur Charles, Jr.
