Peter Allen, age 84,a native of Houston, TX., and a resident of Franklin, La., died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 5:47 AM at Franklin Foundation Hospital. Peter was a veteran of The United States Navy. Visitation will be Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Nazarene Baptist Church in Verdunville, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral time at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Peter leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Edolia Allen of Franklin, La; four sons, Shirley ""Shortie"" Vallaire and Mark Wayne Allen both of Franklin, La., Curley Vallaire of Eunice, La., Murphy Bellard of Monroe, La; one daughter, Shirley Ann Williams of Franklin, La; one sister, Celestine Allen of Houston, TX; and a host of relatives and friends. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.
