Pierre G. ""Perry"" Jackson, age 80, a resident of Berwick, La., died on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at his residence at 10:14 AM. Perry was a veteran of the United States Army. The East St. Mary Funeral Squad will perform in Berwick Cemetery. Graveside Memorial Services and Entombment will be held on Friday October 24, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Berwick Cemetery in Berwick with Military Honors. ""Perry"" leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife, Jean Cox-Jackson of Berwick, La.; one son, Frank (Trina) Gamble, Jr. of Morgan City, La.; one daughter, Blanche Gamble of Beriwck, La.; one sister, Bernadine (Fred) Smith of Las Vegas, NV. two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a special cousin, Dorothy Lane of Morgan City, La. and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, Bernie Jackson and Rita Mae Dugas.
