Rebecca Lewis Aubert

Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 23, 2023 at St. Lucy Catholic Church 1220 Aycock St. Houma, LA 70360, burial will follow in the St. Francis #2 Cemetery.

She was born on October 3, 1939 to Clifford and Elsie J. Lewis in Houma. LA

She was united in matrimony with James Aubert on October 5, 1957, who preceded her in death. They made their home in Chicago, Illinois, and two sons were born to this union.

Rebecca was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She and her husband owned and operated their printing and bindery business for 30 plus years.

She leaves behind her sons, Dr. Eric J. Aubert, his wife, Lori of St. Louis, MO and Gerard C. Aubert of Spring, TX, who was her primary caregiver during her declining years; grandson, Jason L. Aubert and granddaughter, Jasmine I. Aubert; also, a loving additional granddaughter, Aliza (Adam) Schuler and children, Ezra and Micah; her devoted baby sister ( as she always referred to), Sandria L. Beauty; nephews, Edward J. Beauty, Jr. and Clifford P. Lewis; and niece, Tonja K. Beauty.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters, Clara N. Lewis, Blondia L. Moore, brother, Curtis Narcisse. Brothers -n- laws, Walter Moore and Edward J. Beauty.
