Visitation and funeral services will be observed on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 1:00PM until funeral time at 2:00PM at Jones Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery, Thibodaux, LA. 

He is survived by his wife; Pamela Bennett and mother; Albertha Bennett. Stepchildren; Sharetta Thomas; Juawana Thomas; Randel Thomas; Joseph Thomas and ten step grandchildren. Brothers; Carroll (Virginia) Bennett; Oliver (Gisele) Bennett; Ronald Bennett (Willette) and Wayne Bennett. Sisters; Janice (Richard) Jones; Cathy (Daniel) Brown; Phyllis Bennett (Joseph) and Patricia (Juan) Walker. God daughters, Shantana Walker and Miante Oubre and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Bennett. Maternal and paternal grandparents. Brother; Calvin Bennett and sister-in-law; Urcel Bennett. Godmother; Alice White and godchild; Kelly Brown.
