

Reginald was united in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Deborah Ann Volter Garner on December 17, 1977.
He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized on August 19, 1981, at St. Luke by Rev. Frank Singleton. He was called to eternal peace in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 19, 2026.
He was very skilled and talented, working with and learning the skilled trade of plumbing under his father for many years, until venturing out on his own as ‘Dr. Blue Piper.’
He leaves behind to mourn his children Angel Turner Harris (Kendell), Natasha Snipes(Christopher), Nikita Deloach (David); grandchildren A’Donte' Harris, Kenyelle Harris, Kendall Harris, Ariel Snipes, Sonya Garner, Christian Snipes, Grayson Daloach; great grandson, Kaison Harris; brothers Donnie Garner (Yolanda), Christopher Garner, and sister Rachel Picou; ex-wife and caregiver Deborah Garner; his nieces and nephews, Melvin Picou, Mary Gatlin (Detra), Chrishauna Mart, Maya, Gerard Garner (Summer), Donovan Garner (Malacia), Robert Garner (Elonah), Marcus Picou(Raquel), Cory Garner, Ziahlya Garner, and Zhane Garner; uncle Sydney Smith; aunts Marion Garner Haynes, Chester-Mary Crockette; and a host of additional great-nieces, great-nephews, other family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Mae Galmore, father, Richard Garner, Sr., daughter, Faith Garner, brothers, Richard Garner, Jr., Ronald Garner, and niece Rolanda Garner.
After a life marked by perseverance and endurance, he now rests in peace, as it is written, “For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – II Timothy 4:6-7
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home, 230 S. Hollywood Road, Houma, Louisiana.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Deweyville Cemetery.
