Robert Lee ""Baby Boy"" Veal, 47, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of New Iberia, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 8:26 a.m. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Jones Funeral Home, and from 1:00 until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Dularge Community Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Deweyville Cemetery. He is survived by: his fiance, Chukia Allen; his father and stepmother, Leon, Sr. and Gail Veal; son, Robert Veal, Jr.; stepsons, Jacolby and Jhamad Allen; daughter, Tyler Veal; stepdaughter, J'Aijha Marshall; sisters, Jada Porter and Dawn Campbell; brothers, Leon G. Veal, Guy Campbell, Sr. and Roderick Butler, Sr. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Patricia Celestin; brothers, Jeon and Leon M. Veal, Jr.; sister, Sheryl Veal; grandparents, Georgia Harold and Albert Smith; and nephew, Jaquan Veal. Jones Funeral Home of Houma in charge of arrangements.
