An "Evening of Rembrance" service will be conducted from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, February 23 at Jones Funeral Home chapel located at 6775 West Park Avenue in Houma, LA. Dismissal will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Prospect St. in Houma, La.
She is survived by her sons, Dwight Alexander (Crystal), Joshua Alexander, Amone Alexander (Jasmine) and Edward Alexander, III. (Raquel); daughter, Bessie Alexander; fifteen grandchildren; brothers, Walter Donald, Delray and Kalton Hall (Glenda); sisters, Shelita Hall, Yolanda Scott, Lessie Hall and Lynette Carruthers (William; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter, Jr. and Bessie Scott Hall; sister Mary Hall; paternal grandparents, Walter, Sr. and Beatrice Hall; maternal grandparents, Earl and Lessie Scott Young.; nephew, Brad Hall.
