Rose Pratt, age 89, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Lawrenceville, Ga., died Tuesday, June 22nd at Gwinnett Hospital in Lawrenceville, Ga. Visitation will be held at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Morgan City, Saturday, July 3rd, from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Morgan City Cemetery. Rose is survived by her two sons, Willis J. (Lynette) Pratt of Lawrenceville, Ga. and James Pratt, Jr. of Opelousas; and a daughter, Georgia Mae Pratt of Lawrenceville, Ga., a brother, Wilson Thomas of Lafayette, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, her husband, and her parents, seven brothers, a sister and a stepsister and stepbrother.
