Roseita Myles Dickerson

Visitation will be on Friday, October 10, 2025, at The Living Gospel, 140 Corporate Drive Houma, LA from 8:00 AM until funeral time at 10:00 AM with interment at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

She is survived by her husband, Martin E. Dickerson, Sr., daughters, Courtney and Ebony Dickerson, son, Alec (Sharon) Dickerson; grandchildren, Jasmine Simmons and Jonathan Woodard, sisters Irene Holly, Vivian Watson, Druzella Williams, and Betty Lewis; brother Curtis (Lorena) Myles; sisters-in- law, Betty Dickerson, Lubirda Myles, Laura Harris, and Mary Bolin, and brother-in-law Oliver (Betty) Dickerson and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Roseita is preceded in death by her beloved son, Martin E. “Buzz” Dickerson, Jr., her parents, Alex and Matilda Lagarde Myles, grandparents, Julius and Charlotte Maryland Lagarde and Jessie and Irene Thomas Myles; brothers Eugene Myles and Johnny Myles; and sisters Rosalie Myles and Barbara August.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Lucy Catholic Church or The Living Gospel Church Houma Assembly.
