Roy Patterson, age 67, a native and a resident of Franklin, La., died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 8:40 AM in Amelia, La. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Triumph Baptist Church in Franklin, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Franklin Cemetery. Rev. Carl Lewis, Officiating. Roy leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Barbara Johnson Patterson of Franklin, La., two sons, Reginald Patterson of Kenner, La., and Brian Druilhet of Sioux City, Iowa; two daughters, Rochelle Patterson of Baton Rouge, La., and Bridget Joseph of Beaumont, TX; six sisters, Barbara (Henry) Jenkins, Ruth Lightfoot, Linda (Harry) Nerve, Evelyn Bell, Cheryl (Myron) Moton and Cindy Lightfoot all of Franklin, La; three grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
